Ginny, I love you because you made me laugh so hard 10 years ago. We were on
our way home from a fun night with friends in Jersey City. We tried to cross the
highway leading into the Holland tunnel. It was gridlock. Cars headed into the tunnel
ignored the lights and filled the intersection. We weaved our way between them.
At the other side we found our lane blocked by cars in our lane trying to get into the tunnel.
Behind us, someone in a truck kept their horn blaring. You stuck your upper body out
the window, raised your arms in frustration and yelled in your best southern
accented version of a Brooklyn accent, "Wadda yah want? Wadda wan' us to do?"
It broke a stressful moment.
